Pregnancy resources in England

England has a national health service, the NHS, that provides maternity care, with many charities beside it. This page covers NHS maternity services, a specialist midwife helpline, rights at work and in maternity care, breastfeeding, perinatal mental health, pre-eclampsia, pregnancy sickness and twin pregnancies.

Call 999 in an emergency and NHS 111 for urgent help that is not an emergency. Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland run their own health services, so check local information if you live there.
