Information we collect
When you subscribe we collect your first name, email address, due date or pregnancy stage and your email preferences. Like most websites, we also receive basic technical data such as browser type, pages visited and approximate location through analytics tools.
Some features remember your choices on your own device. The calculators keep your last dates in your browser tab so the page can show them again, article checklists and saved baby names are kept in your browser's local storage, and none of this is sent to us.
When you use our contact form we collect the name, email address, topic and message you type, the optional page you name, and how long the form was open. Our form host, Netlify, stores the message for us and passes it through a spam filter, which may send the text to a spam-detection service (Akismet) to check whether it is junk.
How we use it
We use your details to send the weekly emails you asked for, to time them to your due date, to improve our guides and tools and to keep the site secure. We do not sell your personal information.
Your choices and rights
You can unsubscribe from any email with one click. You may also ask us to access, correct or delete your information. Depending on where you live, including the EEA, the UK, Canada, California and other US states, you may have added rights under local law.
Children's privacy
This site is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
